Parent Teacher Partnership
The Scofield Parent Teacher Partnership (PTP) welcomes you— our Scofield community of parents and guardians “Back to School”! Perhaps you’ve heard about the PTP through various fundraising activities or the supplies and programs we financially support at school. Providing these extras is important to us, but our work goes beyond raising money. During orientation we will be selling spirit wear and locker organizers that fit perfectly in their locker.
Our key mission is to promote an environment at school where teachers and administrators can do their best work and our students can do their best learning. We’re always eager to find more great people, like you, to help us meet this goal. That is why each year we fund social, academic and family-oriented enrichment events that make Scofield the special school we all know it to be. Some of the events funded by the PTP are: the 6th grade Welcome Barbeque, Dances, Field Trips and Honor Roll celebrations.
Please help our teachers give your children every possible advantage by becoming active members in the PTP and the Scofield community. We have volunteering opportunities suited to meet the demands of both working and stay-at-home parents. Volunteering serves many purposes, but the most important is having children see their parents working and contributing to better their school experience.
Our first official PTP meeting will be held on Thursday, November 3rd, at 7pm. We will email the details in the PTP newsletter closer to the date. Please refer to the PTP calendar for other events and dates.
We encourage you to sign-up for our PTP newsletter. The newsletter is emailed weekly and contains information about what’s happening at Scofield. Please contact us at email@example.com or sign up on the front page of the Scofield website.
We welcome your ideas and involvement in the PTP. No help is too little! Please contact us at any time. Together, we can make a difference at our school!
